Doralis ( aka Lee) is a girl who stands out from the others in her school and her swim team. Bullied for her size and swimming abilities, she tries to blend in to the back ground so she can avoid the name calling and acid tongue of the other girls. When her coaches daughter falls into the pool, Lee is quick to jump to the rescue. With her coach spotting her ability he sends her off to British Columbia to train for the summer with one of the best trainers. Meeting her team mates she starts having a great time until the princess Crystal comes along - the balance of her being the Queen B status gets majorly upset and Crystal takes an instant dislike to Lee. Lee takes solace in the local park near to where she is staying and meets a lad called Pete, things start to unfold when Lee finds out Pete is not what he seems. As Lee & Pete grow as friends he reveals to her his true form which is something unbelievable and beautiful at the same time. Lee's love for swimming and Pete's true aquatic form is a match made in heave.
